You win baseball games with base hits, bunts, and even walks; not home runs.
The same is true in life. There are no home runs. Success and progress comes from showing up to work every day, doing your best, and helping other people. It’s common that people want quick success. It’s an illusion. From my perspective, all of the success in life comes from showing up, day in, day out, over long periods of time. It’s the long haul process that brings real results.
The story of the bamboo tree says it all. What are you really willing to do to fulfill your dreams?
